John Gladstone is Softcat’s Sustainability Lead working across the organisations working with executive teams to set strategies, goals and commitments. John has a wide range of experience within the IT sustainability sector working across all types of technologies and services. Many years were spent delivering datacentre, logistics and circular economy services.

Since joining Softcat John’s concentration has been developing supply chain and circular economy services to support its customer base and is now dedicated to the reducing emissions across Softcat, its supply chain and developing and providing sustainable solutions and services for its customer base. John is passionate and has a deep understanding around how to use technology to help organisations to reduce their emissions and recognise new opportunities as well as the governance around the journey to Net Zero. Since John has been aligned to sustainability, Softcat has gone to be recognised as one of the leading sustainable resellers in the industry.

Working with Softcat John also gone on to develop a sustainability platform to help organisations measure, manage and minimise their own emissions.

Jo has worked in sustainability since 2006, and is responsible for Giki’s engagement programme, clients and partners. She is a social entrepreneur and sustainability and carbon footprint specialist. Jo is a former BBC Panorama journalist and executive committee member at CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project).
