David is managing director and founder of SOENECS. Since 2018 David has been Vice President of the Circular Economy Institute (CEI) and Circular Economy Club (CEC) responsible for External Affairs.

In September 2021, David was appointed as Professor of Circular Economy at the University of Brighton to lecture and work with academics to incorporate circular economy into the curriculum.

David is in addition non-executive Chair of the CIWM Enterprises Board, NED of Biohm, a member of the Exeter University CE Hub Executive Management Group (EMG), a member of the Strategic Advisory Board for The University of Manchester’s Sustainable Futures Initiative, Government Adviser to IUK, DEFRA and MHCLG and advisor and past chair for the Local Authority National Waste Network Chairs (WNC).

Courtney Holm has over 20 years of sustainability experience and a proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions for sustainable development and is an expert in facilitating multilateral collaboration around complex sustainability challenges.

Courtney’s role is to shape the way Capgemini Invent UK creates long-term, sustainable value for clients, enabling them with fresh perspectives and digital solutions so that they can play a transformative role in addressing planetary, people and systems challenges.

Courtney raises sustainability awareness and acting as a global business representative at international summits and events, such as COP 27 and 28, Dreamforce, SAP Sapphire and the World Climate Summit.
